This is a lighthearted piece about the saying “I want answers!” One time I was home and I forgot to start the pasta boiling while my parents were out. Dad comes home, and he says the title to me as he wondered why I did not start the pasta. When I answered that I was composing this very piece and lost track of time, he was disappointed. The progression from him boisterously saying that he wanted answers to his disappointment when I gave him my answer is represented by the direction of the fast music into the slow music.
