Mini Personalities is a piece written for The ____ Experiment, and it portrays three specific musical
personalities. The assertive and driving 5/8 rhythms dominate much of the first movement but there are moments of coolness in the music that foreshadow the next movement. Movement 2 is entirely a thought-provoking movement with overlapping rhythms that push and pull within the trio. The finale literally flirts with a motive that encapsulates the entire movement which then passes through all of the instruments before coming to a flourishing close.
